Last Saturday & Sunday

On Saturday, 1/23/2010, I walked for a total of 5.77 miles bringing the YTD total to 90.19 miles. Sunday it was raining, so I walked at a local mall for a total of 6.03 miles, the YTD total in now 96.22 miles. This past week I have been out taking photos of the sunrise, here are some more photos.

Sunrises are well worth getting up for.

This Morning's Walk

Here is the mileage I have walked over the past several days, 1/20/2010 5.55 miles YTD 73.18 miles, 1/21/2010 5.16 miles YTD miles 78.34 miles.
This morning, 1/22/2010, I went for a walk of 6.08 miles that brings the year YTD total of 84.42 miles. Found a good place to take photos of the sunrise and views of the Cascades, this spot directly overlooks the Kent Valley. Here are some photos



This morning I could Mt Baker that is, to the north of Seattle, almost to the Canadian border.

This morning I started out early to catch the sunrise, the round trip distance of my walk was 6.04 miles, the YTD total is 67.63 miles. Here are some photos

Last Night & Today

Last night I went walking at the mall, again, 5.64 miles, and today take a short walk to our local Walgreens, 2.99 miles, that brings the YTD total to 61.59 miles

Cougar Mountain Regional Park

Went for a walk today in Cougar Mountain regional Park for a distance of 8.47 miles that brings my ytd to 52.96 miles. This is a large park with many trails to explore, definitively going to revisit.

New trail to explore

Went on a walk today for a distance of 5.49 miles bringing the total to 27.26 miles for the year. It has stopped raining, for awhile, and found a new trail to explore.

Rainy Monday

Because of the return of normal Northwest winter weather patterns today I walked ,grasp, in the mall, for a total of 6.55 miles. That brings totals miles to 21.77

Virtual Walk across the USA

One goal I have this year is to log the miles I walk, and chart my progress across the USA via the American Discovery Trail. I listed a couple of websites for reference, and we will see how far I travel. Here are my miles so far, the length of the American Discovery trial is 5048 miles.
