The First Weekend in September

It was a cloudy and rainy day last Sunday, fall is coming and it will then be raining for weeks on end as the seasons change. Visited three parks while walking last Sunday, here are some web addresses.

Bingman Pond Revisited

Last week I walked through Bingman Park, that is close to our home, a storm pasted though the area the night before, and lighting struck this stump.
and this was the result

It was still smoldering, when I walked by.
The seasons are starting to change, there are more leaves on the ground.
Whenever I walk through this park where are always things that I had not noticed before.

There is a stable that borders on the park, this guy came to say hello.

We do not live that far from a major Interstate highway in the Seattle/Tacoma area in Western Washington.

Clouds and sun

Love this time of year
